In the framework of the ICMPA activities, it has been opened in 2008 at Cotonou in Republic of Benin a Multi-University Master degree and Doctoral training programme in Physical Oceanography and Applications.
ICMPA will award a grant to a number of excellent candidates from african Universities, but candidates are also encouraged to seek grant from other Institutions, for instance, from their home Embassy of France through the grant programme of the “Service de la Coopération et d’Action Culturelle” .
